Barrow Island School. Roose School.

Barrow In Furness.

Working with writer Kate Davis we scoured the microfische at Barrow Local Studies Library for small local stories from the 1950's. The children extrapolated from these paragraphs, and produced a narrative describing a day in Barrow..each story wove into the next. We recorded the children performing their touching and hilarious tales and laid sound effects beneath them.....Listen here...

Newton School, Newton In Furness,

Dalton Castle has a unique collection of objects gathered in and around the castle grounds. We took the labels away and asked the children of Newton School to tell us what we were looking at.

The resulting Museum Guide is available from the Castle, but  with a disclaimer in case anyone thinks it is for real....read the Guide on our Gallery page, and listen here to the  boys and girls reading the audio guide...
