Another Fine Fest is the highlight of Ulverston's Cultural Calendar. Immersive, home-grown and beserk, it transforms the town for 48 bewildering hours in celebration of local lad Stan Laurel's birthday. There's a crowdfunder if you like the look of what happens.

I paint peoples houses and shop windows for it.
